Victoria 1851 Sixpence, rare Davies variety

Victoria (1837-1901), silver Sixpence, 1851, first young head left, legend VICTORIA DEI GRATIA BRITANNIAR: REG: F: D:, the Gs have inner serif much shorter then the outer serif, toothed border around rim both sides, rev. inverted die axis, SIX / PENCE in two lines at centre of crowned laurel and oak wreath, date below, edge milled, weight 2.83g (Bull 3187; Davies 1046; ESC 1696; S.3908). Once cleaned, with some residual light toning, good very fine and the rarer Davies variety with the malformed Gs in legend.

The Latin legends translates on obverse as "Victoria by the Grace of God, Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith."
