Victoria 1854 Groat, doubled date

Victoria (1837-1901), silver Groat, 1854, date doubled, young filleted head left, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA D: G: BRITANNIAR: REGINA F: D: rev. Britannia seated right with trident and shield, date in exergue, FOUR PENCE legend surrounding, weight 1.87g (Bull 3351; ESC 1952; Davies 1230; S.3913). Toned, some surface marks, almost extremely fine.

The Latin legend translates as "Victoria by the grace of God, Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith."

The date on this coin is entirely double entered, and the doubling of the 5 gives the illusion of perhaps being over a 3 like Davies 1230, but to us appears to be merely a doubled 5.
