Victoria (1837-1901), bronze Farthing, 1875H, Heaton Mint, laureate "bun style" bust left, 4 berries in wreath, legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA D: G: BRITT: REG: F: D: rev. Britannia seated right with trident and shield, denomination in words surrounding, date with H below in exergue (Freeman 532, dies 5+C; S.3959). Lightly toned over considerable lustre, with tiny specks and spots on reverse, otherwise uncirculated.
The abbreviated Latin legend on the obverse translates as "Victoria by the Grace of God, Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith."
