Victoria (1837-1901),Proof silver Maundy threepence, 1839, young filleted head left, legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA D: G: BRITANNIAR: REGINA F: D:rev.en medaille, crowned '3' denomination , date either side all within oak wreath, edge plain, weight 1.42g (cf. Bull.3482; ESC 2449; Robinson p.169: 401, R; S.3916).Olive blue tone, excellent detail and relief in the Queens hair, the reverse with fields with a cameo effect. Encapsulated and graded by NGC as PF 62, rare.

The Latin legend translates as "Victoria by the grace of God, Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith."
