Scotland, Robert II (1371-90),silver Halfpenny, Edinburgh Mint, crowned head left, sceptre before, beaded circles and legend surrounding, +ROBERTVS REX,rev.long cross pattee, pierced mullet in each inner angle, beaded circles +VIL A EI DIn BVR, weight 0.39g (Burns 2, fig.315; S.5152).Toned and a little uneven in shape, weak in one quarter, otherwise a pleasing very fine.

The abbreviated Latin legends translate as on obverse "Robert King." and on the reverse as "Town of Edinburgh."
