MDCCLXXIV, 37mm (BHM 192; Eimer 756). Old light scratch on reverse, otherwise, exceptional mint state with reflective surfaces and iridescent tone.

John Murray, 3rd Duke of Athol (1729-1774), succeeded to the title in 1764 but sold the sovereignty of the Isle of Man to the Treasury almost immediately in 1765.
