Ireland, Edward IV (1461-83), silver Penny, Dublin Mint, sun and roses coinage (Summer 1479-May 1480), type VIII, facing crowned head, sun to left of neck, rose to right, rev. rose at centre of long cross pattee, sun over two roses alternating with rose over two suns in each inner angle, weight 0.41g (DF 168; S.6396). Struck on small flan as usual, with a clear face, very fine for issue.
