Henry VII (1485-1509),gold Angel of six shillings and eight pence, type IV, St Michael slaying dragon, beaded circle and Latin legend surrounding, initial mark greyhounds head (1502-04) both sides, saltire stops and abbreviated Latin legend both sides hEnRIC'xx DI'xx GRA'x REXx AnGL' xZx FRAnC'xrev.ship sailing right, quartered shield upon hull, cross above, h to left, rose to right, PER CRVCE'x TVA'x SALVAx nOSx XPE'x REDE' (cf.Schneider 530-2; N.1697; S.2185).Toned, weak in parts, with surface marks, has been slabbed and graded by NGC as VF20.

NGC Certification 354244-004.

The abbreviated Latin legends translate as on the obverse "Henry by the Grace of God, King of England and France"; and on the reverse "By Thy cross, save us, O Christ, our Redeemer."
