Henry I Penny PAX type Thetford Bundi

Henry I (1100-35), silver Penny, type III (c.1103), Thetford Mint, moneyer Bundi, crowned draped bust facing, annulet above left shoulder, tri-pellets above right shoulder, legend surrounding with first two letters ligatured, +HENRI I---, rev. PA+ across centre between grained borders, pair of annulets above and below all contained in a beaded inner circle, legend surrounding commencing upper left, BVNDI ON Ð---TR weight 0.88g (N.859; S.1264). Chipped, with some weakness in legends, toned about very fine.

The legends translate as "Henry King" on obverse and "Bundi of Thetford" on the reverse.
