Elizabeth II (1952-2022), gold proof Two Pounds, 2011, 400th Anniversary of the King James bible, crowned head right, IRB initials below for designer Ian Rank-Broadley, Latin legend surrounding, ELIZABETH. II. D. G. REG. FID. DEF. TWO POUNDS, rev. design by Paul Stafford and Benjamin Wright, design focusing on the opening verse of St. John's Gospel, 'IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD', the verse shown as printing blocks on the left and the printed page on the right, inscription 'KING JAMES BIBLE' above and dates 1611-2011 below, edge inscribed 'THE AUTHORISED VERSION', 15.97g (S. K28). As struck, a scarce type, in Royal Mint packaging with certificate of authenticity.
