HIB REX., weight 8.04g (Schneider -; Farey 310; EGC 272; MCE 82; S.3344).Has been gilt, obverse fields peppered with surface marks and light scratches, a bold fine, we note no example of this date present in the famous Schneider Collection.

The Latin legends translate as on the obverse "Charles the second by the Grace of God," and abbreviated on the reverse as "King of Great Britain, France and Ireland."
