Carausius (A.D. 287-293), AE Antoninianus. Mint of London. IMP CARAVSIVS P F AVG, radiate and cuirassed bust facing right, rev. PAX AVG, Pax standing left, holding a branch and a sceptre, F-O in field, ML in exergue, 3.55g., 12h (RIC 119 var.). With much silvering, double-struck on reverse, the flan having rotated 180 degrees for the second strike resulting in an inverted ghosting of the type and legend, nearly extremely fine.
