Anne (1702-14), silver Twopence, 1707, stop after date, first bust left, legend reads ANNA. DEI. GRATIA., rev. crowned small figure '2' mark of value, legend surrounds MAG: BR: FRA: ET: HIB: REG:, weight 0.93g (Bull.1515; ESC.2216; Robinson p.155: 148; S.3597). Mirrored fields, iridescent tone with haymarking, portrait well struck up, has been slabbed and graded by NGC as MS62.
NGC Certification 8220387-015 - currently the only and finest example graded.
The Latin legends translate as "Anne by the grace of God" on obverse, and on the reverse "Queen of Great Britain, France and Ireland."
The 1707 Threepence and Twopence are the only small silver coins of this date with no maundy set being available
