HIB &c PRO, rev. crowned quartered shield of arms of the Protectorate, date above, PAX QVÆRITVR BELLO (Bull 254; ESC 1005; S.3228). Toned, a little unevenly on reverse, hint of wear to the highest points only, a pleasing extremely fine.
