Nero (A.D. 54-68), Silver Denarius. Mint of Rome, struck A.D. 67-68. IMP NERO CAESAR - AVG PP, laureate and bearded head of Nero facing right, rev. Salus, draped and seated left on a throne, holding patera in right hand, SALVS in exergue, 2.87g, 6h (BMC 98; RIC 71). A most attractive example with a bold portrait of Nero, well centered and with light iridescent cabinet toning, extremely fine.
