Ionia, Ephesos (c. 180-67 B.C.), Silver Cistophoric Tetradrachm. Struck c. 150-140 B.C. Cista mystica with a serpent emerging; all within an ivy-wreath, rev. EΦE, bowcase with two serpents, a cornucopiae on right, 12.67g., 12h (SNG von Aulock 7840; Kleiner & Now, Series 24). Nearly extremely fine.
